Dr F. L. Kok, is
a mathematician and a Mnemonic techniques expert. He is a
graduate of the University of London in Mathematics with Operational
Research under the supervision of Professor Conolly.
He had worked in British Airport Authority, London Heathrow
Airport (Terminal 4) as an operational researcher with the
guidance of Dr Richard Sharp. He is now very much involved in
Mathematical Programming, Differential Equations, particularly in
Stochastic Modelling, more specifically Monte Carlo Methods and
Buffon Methods.
As a few
Mnemonics expert in the world, he has written two books named
Mnemonics Techniques Study Skill and Monte Carlo Methods. He has
conducted adult memory courses for lawyers, doctors, professors,
police inspectors, directors, accountants, students and
administrative staff. He has a record of remembering 18 decks of
cards (936 cards) in sequence and vice versa at one material
time.
In his teaching
portfolio, Dr Kok also serves as a mentor for MBA & BBA
students who are pursuing their degrees in a few foreign
universities. He is a panel lecturer for MIA (Malaysia Institute
of Accountants), CPA (Certified Practicing Accountants
Australia), FMM (Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers), IKRAM
UNIVERSITY TECHNOLOGY, UNGKU OMAR POLYTECHNIC, and HRDC (Human
Resources Development Center) for Unemployed Graduates.
Dr F. L. Kok is a
Graduate member of the Institute of Mathematics and Its
Applications, UK, and member of the Cost and Executive
Accountants, UK. He is an active Alumni of KING's College,
University of London and University of Miami.
Dr F. L. Kok has
engaged in the business world for more than 28 years and the
former principal of a college.
